3. How to Opt In
Authorized participants may initiate enrollment by texting START to a designated Alarms America Sales Support number. Alarms America will send a confirmation request containing the Program disclosures.

4. Consent to Receive Messages
By replying YES to the enrollment request, you expressly consent to receive recurring SMS and MMS messages from Alarms America at the telephone number used to enroll. Messages may be sent using automated technology.
Your consent is voluntary and is not a condition of employment, contractor engagement, purchasing any product, or receiving any service. You may withdraw your consent at any time by following the opt-out instructions below.
5. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the number of support requests initiated, the nature of those requests, and the responses required. Because this is an interactive operational-support program, there is no fixed number of messages.
6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to or received from the Program. Alarms America does not charge a separate fee for participation, but your wireless carrier’s messaging, data, roaming, or other charges may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your mobile plan.
7. How to Opt Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to the Alarms America Sales Support number from which you receive messages. You may also use any of the following supported opt-out keywords:
STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT
After opting out, you should receive a final confirmation message stating that you will no longer receive messages from that Program number. No additional Program messages will be sent unless you initiate and complete a new opt-in.
To re-enroll after opting out, text START to the applicable Alarms America Sales Support number and complete the confirmation process.
8. Help and Support
For assistance, reply HELP or INFO to the applicable Alarms America Sales Support number.
You may also contact Alarms America by email at info@alarmsamerica.com.
9. Privacy
Alarms America handles information collected through the Program in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Mobile information and SMS consent records will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be disclosed to service providers that assist us in operating the Program, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-use restrictions, or when disclosure is required by law.
10. Appropriate Use
Participants must use the Program only for authorized business and operational-support purposes. Participants must not send unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate content.
Participants should not transmit payment-card information, Social Security numbers, account passwords, access codes, medical information, or other highly sensitive personal information through SMS unless expressly authorized and protected by an approved process.
A participant is responsible for maintaining control of the mobile device and telephone number used to access the Program. If a device or telephone number is lost, reassigned, or no longer under the participant’s control, the participant should immediately opt out or notify Alarms America.
11. Wireless Carrier and Delivery Disclaimer
SMS and MMS delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and network provider. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Alarms America does not guarantee that messages will be delivered, received without delay, or available at all times. Service may be affected by network availability, device compatibility, carrier restrictions, geographic conditions, technical failures, or other circumstances outside our control.
12. Supported Carriers and Devices
The Program is intended to work with major United States wireless carriers, but availability may vary by carrier, telephone plan, device, and location. Some carriers or devices may not support all SMS or MMS features.
13. No Emergency Services
The Program is not an emergency service and should not be used to report an emergency, request police, fire, or medical assistance, or report an immediate threat to persons or property. In an emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.
14. Program Changes or Termination
Alarms America may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or a participant’s access to it at any time. We may also update these SMS Terms to reflect operational, legal, regulatory, or technical changes.
Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
